Orthokine

Orthokine (Orthokine Therapy)

What is Orthokine?

Orthokine is an advanced autologous biological therapy for treating osteoarthritis, joint pain, and musculoskeletal injuries. It uses the patient’s own anti-inflammatory proteins extracted from blood to reduce inflammation, repair cartilage, and relieve pain—without surgery or steroids.

How Does Orthokine Work?

1. Blood Draw: A small blood sample is taken from the patient.
2. Incubation: The blood is incubated in special tubes to stimulate the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines (e.g., IL-1Ra).
3. Processing:  The blood is centrifuged to isolate the healing serum rich in growth factors.
4. Injection: The concentrated serum is injected into the damaged joint (knee, hip, shoulder, or spine) to *reduce pain and promote tissue regeneration*.
